For people who lived in Canada
The RCMP allows an application for a certified criminal record check to be started from outside Canada. Its official process requires paper fingerprints to be taken abroad, then converted to digital format and submitted by an RCMP-accredited fingerprint company in Canada.
Paper fingerprints are only one stage
Groupe AS Detectives provides ink fingerprinting at 111 rue de la Croix Nivert, Paris 15e. It does not issue the Canadian criminal record check and is not the accredited Canadian company responsible for electronic submission.
Check the Canadian processing route first
The RCMP states that there are no RCMP-accredited private fingerprinting companies outside Canada. Applicants should confirm the current RCMP requirements and the arrangements required by the accredited Canadian company before arranging paper fingerprints abroad.
Do not send paper fingerprints directly to CCRTIS
The RCMP states that paper fingerprints and applications mailed directly to Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Services will not be accepted.
